Now that that’s through, let me talk more personally as me (Doom) rather than some erotic fantasy herald promoting a video game.
I made this game in a month for a game jam. I made a porn game for this jam last year as well, but it was mostly a project for learning, and ended up as a decent showcase if a little barren and overscoped. But boy, what a difference a year of experience makes. In my opinion. Monster layer is THE BEST thing I’ve made to this day, period. And the fact I finished it in a month is a testament to how much I’ve grown.
If you’re reading this when it’s new, I would like to make more Monster Layer. Unfortunately I will be very busy with my personal life in the next little bit. Kinda depends on how the game does too, we’ll see.

I had the idea to have this game have Dungeon Synth, since I thought the ambient trance-like state it puts me in would pair nicely with this game. “Lost in The Forest” is a creative commons artist who I have no relation to. All I’m required to do is give Attribution. However it’s not everyday I look for creative commons music and find an artist I actually like. I'm not sure whether it is an intentional nerf or a bug, but it seems like Luck fails as you get further in Endless, like 3rd or 4th replay on I wanna say the 7th lay. I had an insane build that had Touch and Arousal kinda infinite loop before I even started moving and could do like 11k pleasure (arousal would be like 500+), but eventually when health exceeded that I couldn't generate anymore arousal or love and none of my luck stuff procced, which meant I sat there seeing a normal lay with 0 negative traits just beat me because I couldn't do anything and hearts (even with the ignoring perk) were doing like 20% of my stamina each.
Also it'd be nice if there was a way to go back to the menu/restart a run, and maybe I'm playing them wrong but the hypnosis character seems much worse than the other two (see: infinite loop I just said for first one, but even the wolf can get powerful moon or frenzy builds while musk/hypno take too long to get online).
That all said, love the game, up to 5th difficulty.

Okay, I do love this game. It's amazing, and I think it has some real potential... just because I love it, it makes me see it's flaws even more. (well, what are flaws from my perspective). Biggest one being, you can't see what perks you have in the middle of a run. Memorizing everything I've picked isn't that fun.
Second biggest flaw is that going from lusty 1 onward, the hearts expect a level of precision that just isn't in the game. Like, if a heart appears immediately followed by a reverse heart, I can try to resume the rutting immediately afterwards but often I feel like I can't get to fucking fast enough- which isn't helped by the game's lack of definition of what "fucking" entails. I think adding in some feedback (new soudn effect, hearts looking differently when you don't do what they want you to, etc) would help a lot

The first concern you have is already addressed, just not well communicated. You can see which perks you have by tapping/clicking on our little pink shopkeep. (Whom, I might add, you can also pet.)

I enjoy this game so much, I love the cute expressions and the whacky builds. I appreciate the body type frequency sliders. Please on next update I hope the Percentage chance stacking bug is fixed.
On Jon Layer and Drip Inferno if you pick up "Inseminate" and "Unstoppable" along with too many percentage chance effects the roll stack overflows and stops rolling all percentages entirely across the board. Its super sad having a good run die because the game breaks rather than messing up.
My other request it would be nice buffing thrusts a little, I feel like as soon as you pick up "Oblivious" and get any kind of stamina reduction/gain there is no reason to ever thrust from that point when you can just hold down the M1 and focus on building raw damage effects. Which just makes getting nothing but thrust skills after a lay a hinderance. I'd enjoy if thrust had a buff like "Penetrator" or something to ignore partner preferences and gain full pleasure bonus OR have thrust also take less damage from from heart pop or even gain more pleasure from getting hit while thrusting since it would take more effort to time it vs pounding through the hits.
I beg for the bug fix but the buff would also be nice
Would also be nice if the impreg animation stacked to reduce que. Like if it is triggering just update the number next to it after the first trigger instead of replaying the whole animation.

I noticed a bug that I had. I had a build that was heavy on getting as much Arousal, Love, and Percentage Chance events from happening and got to like my 36th lay or so, but then a bunch of them happened all at once until I lost the ability to have any luck events happen at all, and it made me lose
I wish there was knotting, Xray view, BJs, and anal.
Very fun game! I'm a sucker for rogue lite/like gameplay, and I love the art style. It does get a little difficult on the higher difficulties, but that's not a bad thing. Would be nice if it wasn't only a web browser game and it could be downloaded, but that's ok. It's a cute and fun game and I'm definitely excited for any new updates!
I'm surprised there isn't any knotting/knotfucking or knotting perks for the wolf character.

the fox spirits honestly looked like ferrets to me at first glance. lots of species of monsters have been crossed off my list now of what I hope see. only few I could think of adding now would be bats(Batfucker) slimes, cats(feline fucker) purr chance even a rare tiger lay. or leopard id also love to see belly bulges. considering we can see just how .....Deep we go within a fox spirit. at least for like, the smaller species (mice, spirits, birds?)

I really like this game so far but I am wondering if some things could be a toggle on the future. At one point I ran out of rerolls and I was forced to pick a impreg one which is something that just makes me really uncomfortable. Then every time it triggered I'd always feel really uncomfortable. Just a personal opinion and I know it's a game mechanic so a toggle would probably be weird to do.
Idea:
Cock of the gods perk
you start small and have to relie on your ability to tease
but after you start to line up more and more succusfull breeds your cock grows with each pleased mate eventually growing up to the max size per mate type
this would allow you to add giants as a breedable as you could gain max level in this perk and please giant enemys

Feature request: I'd like to be able to turn off breasts on non-mammals without it affecting their pronouns/sfx.
Also I'd like to be able to blacklist certain species. I kinda liked it better when it was all kobolds tbh.
